Red FM Kolkata says 'Ab sabki bajegi'

Red FM 93.5 is back with a bang in Kolkata. After repositioning itself as Kolkata's only superhit Hindi radio station, it has a new tag line – “Ab Sabki Bajegi”. Red FM Kolkata is now also taking a route that is different and less travelled by other FM stations. Taking up bold and upfront issues is what the station believes in and is a clear platform for expression for the audience in Kolkata.

With the new positioning, Red FM Kolkata is now playing only Hindi music and the RJ talk is Hindi as well. With the differentiated product and positioning, the brand is going all out to woo audiences which seek Hindi music in the ever growing radio market of Kolkata.

Commenting on the repositioning Nisha Narayanan, Senior VP - Projects and Programming, 93.5 Red FM Network, said, “We have changed our product from a Bengali station to a complete Hindi station including the Jock Talk. In fact, we are 'Kolkata's Only Superhit Hindi Radio Station' now. Hindi music is in high demand in Kolkata, but none of the radio stations plays only Hindi music. So we decided to bridge the gap and offer our listeners a differentiated product which we believe they will love. We have added an attitudinal tonality to the product change through an on-air and off-air campaign – “Ab Sabki Bajegi” – which promises to take up  key issues related to Kolkata in a fun and quirky way to create interesting content for our listeners, yet not lose the essence of the issue.
