Hathway launches Hindi music channel in Bangalore

Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd has launched a non-stop, 24-hour Hindi music channel, Hathway Music, on its digital cable network in Bangalore on Thursday. The channel will showcase the best of Bollywood songs from the golden classics of the 50s-60s to the melodious hits of 80s-90s and the latest Bollywood hits of today.

It is a non-stop music channel playing back-to-back superhit Hindi film songs packaged with appealing graphics. Hathway Music will have different categories/themes such as Down Memory Lane, Music Stars, Smash Hits, Bollywood Beats, Jumping Jacks, Dancing Queens, and Romantic Melodies.

Haresh Gehaney, Head-Channel Business, Hathway, said, “There will be no anchors hosting any shows or distracting viewers with their never-ending talks but will give the audience non-stop, superhit film songs without any interruptions, thus giving a complete dose of entertainment. Very soon English content will also be added.”

This channel was initially available in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Indore, Jaipur and Hyderabad.
