Sandeep Sharma joins RK Swamy Media Group as President

He moves from Times Global Broadcasting where he headed Marketing & Sales for Times Now and ET Now. He takes over from Chintamani Rao who is moving into another role

Sandeep Sharma has joined RK Swamy Media Group as President to take over from Chintamani Rao, who is moving into another role in the company. Prior to this assignment, he was Senior Vice-President, Marketing & Sales, at Times Global Broadcasting, where he was part of the start-up team of Times Now, and subsequently ET Now.

In a career spanning 22 years, Sandeep  has been in senior leadership roles in revenue, brand and key client relationship management across media, advertising and brand management.

Speaking about this change of leadership, Shekar Swamy, Group CEO of RK Swamy Hansa, said, “We are delighted to have Sandeep lead this group. Our Media service has seen very good growth over the past year. It serves the needs of over 75 advertisers across the country, delivering tremendous results to them. Sharma's predecessor Chintamani Rao said, “We have done a lot in the last couple of years. RK Swamy Media Group is now poised to play the game at the next level, and I look forward to Sandeep leading that charge. I am pulling back just a bit to give myself time to some of the things I want to do.”
