IBN7 honours India’s ‘Super Idols’

Salman Khan felicitated 11 Super Idols at a glittering awards ceremony in Mumbai

Will power is the greatest driving force in man which helps him brace through all the difficulties in life. The third edition of IBN7 Super Idols, an initiative in partnership with Supertech Ltd celebrated the courage and determination of 11 specially-abled achievers who have soared beyond physical challenges and conventional barriers to realise their chosen dreams.

Paralysis, blindness, polio, muscular dystrophy have not been able to stop our 11 Super Idols from becoming sport icons, dancers, world renowned surgeons, and dedicating their lives for the welfare of specially-abled people. These Super Idols were felicitated at a glittering awards ceremony held in Taj Lands End, Mumbai with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the Chief Guest for the evening. The idols received a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each along with the lifetime achiever, who received a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh.

Speaking about the initiative, Ashutosh, Managing Editor, IBN7 said, “Every year, these Super Idols affirm and strengthen my belief that where there is a will, one will always find a way. They are the emblems of strength for all of us and their achievements in life instil in us perseverance and commitment to strive for the unachievable.”
