Cannes Lions announces Creative Effectiveness, Design, Film, PR juries

The four Indians named on the juries are Nadia Chauhan of Parle Agro, Abhijit Bansod of Studio ABD, Priti Kapur of JWT Delhi and Sunil Gautam of Hanmer

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, taking place from June 17-23, 2012, has announced the members of a further four juries: Creative Effectiveness, Design, Film and PR Lions. There are four Indians on these juries.  Nadia Chauhan, Joint Managing Director & Chief Marketing Officer, Parle Agro, has been named on the Creative Effectiveness Lions Jury; Abhijit Bansod, Principal Designer & Creative Head, Studio ABD, will sit on the Design Lions jury; Priti Kapur, Executive Creative Director, JWT Delhi, is on the Film Lions jury; and Sunil Gautam, Director, Hanmer MSL Communications, will sit on the PR Lions jury.

"Both as a collective and as individuals, these jury members play a vital and integral part at Cannes Lions as they set the global benchmark for the future of creative communications. They have all been chosen based on their award winning contributions to the industry and it's an honour to be able to work with them at the upcoming Festival," said Terry Savage, Chairman of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Each of the juries will be chaired by their own jury president with David Jones, Global Chief Executive Officer, Havas & Euro RSCG Worldwide, heading the Creative Effectiveness Lions jury; Bruce Duckworth, Creative Director, Turner Duckworth, leading the Design Lions jury; Khai Meng Tham, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy & Mather, presiding over the Film Lions jury, and Gail Heimann, Global Vice-Chair, Weber Shandwick, heading the PR Lions jury.

The entry deadline has been extended until April 6, 2012. All entries will be judged in Cannes, France, and announced throughout the Festival week.
