Quasar Co-founder Deven Dharamdasani calls it a day at Blazar

He plans to launch his own venture next month in the mobile space. Blazar was floated as the second agency of Quasar in 2009

Deven Dharamdasani, Business Head of Blazar and Co-founder of Quasar Media, has called it a day at the agency. As one of the co-founders, he had joined Quasar Media, owned by WPP and Smile Interactive Technology Group (SITG), in October 2004 and was given the responsibility to launch Quasar Media's second agency Blazar in October 2009 as its Business Head. Blazar media was created to handle digitally driven clients and digitally nascent clients who need customised digital expertise.

Dharamdasani is slated to start his own venture in the mobile space. However, he didn't share much detail about the venture beyond saying that it is slated to hit the market by next month.

An MBA in Sales and Marketing, he had started his career with Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills as Marketing Manager in 2000 where he spent more than four years before joining Quasar.
