Radio Mirchi took Bangalore by surprise this Christmas with flash mobs organized simultaneously at 4 malls spread across the city. With shoppers crowding the malls, they were spell bound when exactly at 6 pm, a group of 20 dancers took to the floor dancing to the most popular Kannada numbers that are currently top on charts.

The dancers grooved to popular peppy Kannada numbers like Edeyali guitaaru, Paramathma, 123 Vishnuvardhana getting the crowd on their toes. Mirchi RJs – Pallavi, Beat Raja, Balcony Baadshah Avinash, Vicky, Lavanya, Preethi and Smitha also joined the fun, shaking their leg to the music, providing a treat to Radio Mirchi fans.

The dance act was choreographed by Nritarutya, a Bangalore based Indian – Contemporary Dance Trust run by the artistically endowed sisters Madhuri and Mayuri Upadhyay.

Commenting on the occasion, Anand Parameswaran – Regional Director – Radio Mirchi South, said “Mirchi is about pep, energy and vivaciousness - the songs that we play reflect these completely… This festive season we wanted to spread the joy and have lots of fun while doing it… And that's just what we have done…”
