Disney brings its Princess Cinderella to India

Beginning December 19, Cinderella to perform 20 live shows in a five city tour across India

It is time for Little Princesses across India to wish upon a magic star and see their fairytale dream come true as Disney Princess Cinderella is all set to enchant them this December, in person! The beautiful Disney Princess Cinderella and her Prince Charming will be on their first royal visit to India beginning December 19, and together they promise to make this a truly special holiday season for all their fans. Cinderella is one of the most loved Disney Princesses in the country and the first Disney Princess to visit India.

Disney is calling all little Princesses and Cinderella fans to put on their dancing shoes and be a part of this very special experience as Cinderella and Prince Charming star in 20 live shows across five cities. Over 2.5 lakh Disney Princess fans across Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai will get to see Cinderella and Prince Charming in person and be a part of magical celebrations! Starting with their arrival in true royal grandeur at the Bangalore Palace on 19th December, every show will comprise of storytelling session, Disney Princess makeover sessions, a very special Waltz performance by Cinderella and Prince Charming, followed by special meet and greet with fans.

Disney, in association with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of India, will also fulfil wishes of 60 children suffering from life threatening illness.

Celebrating the Disney Princesses' first ever visit to India, Disney is leaving no stone unturned to give their fans an opportunity to experience the story at multiple levels starting with role-play sets by Disney Consumer Products. Introduced for the first time, a special role-play range for Disney Princess will include Princess Dresses, wands, tiara, and accessories, and more to fulfill every little girls dream to be a Disney Princess. Little Princesses can also decorate their room with Princess products such as bedding, furniture, bath products and much more. They can also add Princess branded apparel, stationery products, toys such as puzzles, dolls, hoppers and games to their Princess collection. For those who want to throw a Disney Princess theme birthday party, can get party products -- face masks, caps, balloons and lots more. Princess fans can also experience the magic of Disney Princess through stories books, activity books or learn basic math and English grammar in a fun and entertaining way with the Disney Princess workbooks.

In addition, Clinic Plus has tied up with Disney to further magnify the Disney Princess magic. Clinic Plus has launched packs with three Disney Princesses -- Rapunzel, Jasmine and Little Mermaid. During the promotional period, fans will get free Disney Princess 3D hair accessories and jewellery with every Clinic Plus bottle (90ml, 200ml and 400ml).

Disney Channel has already showcased Disney Princess movies that have enchanted over 10 million viewers week on week and will be airing the Cinderella II at 11 a.m. on December 17, 2011 as part of the promotion.

Princess Cinderella is the second among Disney's line-up of Princesses, the others being Snow White, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jasmine (Aladdin), Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) and Rapunzel (Tangled). Together, the Disney Princesses have charmed, captivated and delighted little girls all across the World with endearing tales that transport them to places where clothes are made from gold and silk, chivalrous princes fight to save the princesses, and more importantly, places where good always wins over evil.
