publive-imageThe Food Corporation of India (FCI) has called for a creative and media pitch. Many leading creative and media agencies are participating in the pitch. The account size is Rs 30 crore. The PSU is learnt to be planning to empanel four to five agencies for a period of two years subject to satisfactory performance.

FCI plans to undertake a change in its brand identity and go in for a new logo. The company will be advertising in print and TV, and revamp its website.

The scope of work involves releasing advertisements/tender notices in different newspapers after designing and formatting the creative in a specific space. The media agency should have valid INS accreditation for press advertisements.

FCI was set up under the Food Corporation Act 1964 in order to fulfil the objectives of the food policy for effective price support operations to safeguard the interests of farmers, distribution of foodgrain throughout the country under the public distribution system and maintaining satisfactory levels of buffer stocks to ensure a viable National Food Security plan.
