Bangalore-based Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) has called for a pitch for empanelment of agencies. The empanelment is for two years, and the account size is Rs 5 crore. The empanelled agencies will be responsible for providing services in advertising, media and public relations. The scope of work will broadly include creative publicity campaigns and release of advertisements in different languages.

Six agencies will be empanelled. To be eligible, agencies should be accredited to INS (Indian Newspaper Society) and have a minimum print media advertising of Rs 5 crore per annum in the last three years. Applicants should have a full-fledged office in Bangalore for the last one year.

The last day for submitting applications is September 29, 2011.

Rail Wheel Factory (previously known as Wheel and Axle Plant) is a state-of-the-art plant meeting bulk of the requirement of wheels, axles and wheel sets for the Indian Railways. The spare capacity available is utilised to meet the domestic demand for non-railway customers and exports.
