publive-imageManoj Malkani has quit MPG recently after a little more than a two-year stint. He had joined MPG, a part of Havas Media, as Vice-president Mumbai in July 2009. He had moved from Dentsu Media, where he was Vice-president, Media, for a year. His next destination is not known.

In a 14-year career span, Malkani has worked with top organisations. He has worked with GroupM's Mindshare, where he headed buying as Senior Investment Director on the Aditya Birla Group business. He played a key role in the consolidation of the media business of Aditya Birla Group. He was then transferred within the GroupM system to Maxus to head the Hero Honda account in Delhi as Senior Business Director.

He has also been involved in the reconstruction of Carat in 2005-06, and later rejoined Carat to head the alliance between Percept and Carat after a stint with Starcom as Group Head - Buying.
