publive-imageDainik Bhaskar Group's National Government Vertical has taken an initiative to bring leading stakeholders of the Indian infrastructure sector on one platform. It has announced the launch of Dainik Bhaskar Mission Infrastructure 3.0 conclave scheduled to be held on September 28, 2011 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, and aims to be a catalyst to bring about a paradigm shift in the way infrastructure development is looked at.

In the line with the India Pride Awards, Power Vision Conclave and National Education Summit, this is the fourth big property from the National Government Vertical of the group, one of India's largest media conglomerates. Briefing BestMediaInfo.com about the concept, Jaideep Dhagat, Senior General Manager & Business Head, National publive-imageGovernment Vertical, Dainik Bhaskar Group, said, “The day-long conclave will cover the challenges being faced in infrastructure sector. There have been a lot of talk and plans on infrastructure but here we aim to convert these talks into a mission status. DBMI 3.0 will be unique and different from the existing infrastructure related events in the country. The central idea is that infrastructure needs to be approached from end result, which they are presently not. The event shall revolve around a new infrastructure theme specific to India, every year.”

“DBMI 3.0 proposes to focus on a designated theme every year. It aims to take infrastructure to move beyond stage-vision and discussion to stage-mission accomplishment. The numeric 3.0 represents the third wave of thinking on Indian infrastructure. The first was the telecom revolution which was individual-led and the second was largely state-led with stress on physical infrastructure). The third wave of fresh thinking on infrastructure proposes to be “people-led” that will view different aspects of infrastructure from the end-result and end-user perspective,” explained Dhagat.

The conclave has been divided into four segments – Business Infrastructure, Agricultural and Rural Infrastructure, Urban Infrastructure and People Infrastructure.

Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath will be the chief guests at the conclave. The conclave will see distinguished industry veterans as speakers and the participation from Government of India, State Governments and Private Sector companies.

A full-fledged promotional campaign in the DB Group including Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, DNA, Business Bhaskar and Divya Marathi will be launched. DBMI 3.0 also has a dedicated website www.dbmissioninfra.com.
