publive-imageChannel catches the pulse of the next gen, by unveiling a new serial about a young girl trying to make her mark in the world of boxing. It's a story of true grit and determination against many trials and tribulations. 'Humse Hai Liife' revolves around young Sia (Abigail Jain), who dreams of becoming a successful boxer just like her father, and treads the highroad of hard work and dedication to achieve her dreams.

The show was conceptualized around the insight that women in our country have to toil that much harder in careers that are conventionally dominated by men. To take this idea beyond the show, the channel identified the leading women boxers of India, who flagged off the press conference about the show. Boxing champions MC Mary Kom, Vanlal Duati, Pinki Jangra and Neetu Chahal were further felicitated with a cash prize of Rs. 2,00,000/ - each by the channel, for their unrelenting contribution to the sport, as well as the exemplary determination that is an inspiration to all women in India.

Humse Hai Liife is about a headstrong Sia, played by Abigail Jain (earlier seen in Kyaa Dil Mein Hai, Bandini) who hails from Adarsh Colony, Delhi and is known to be an achiever. She believes that excelling in boxing will be her ticket out of her hometown. Sia rightly wins a scholarship to the Elite School, where Coach Birendra (Ankur Nayyar) reinforces her belief that she can truly reach her goal. The story moves on to her struggle in the school and problems with Raghav, the male protagonist (played by Himansh Kohli, a fresh face).

Commenting on the new show, Prem Kamath, Executive VP & GM adds, “We have been the frontrunners in bringing fiction to the youth entertainment category in India and have further been pioneering new concepts that excite, engage and connect with our viewers. In fact, our current daily fiction, Dil Dostii Dance is the highest rated show in the 7 p.m. slot, which shows our strength in our concepts and their success with our audiences. Humse Hai Liife has been conceptualized keeping in mind the passion and determination of the youth who are no longer scared to dream and have great ambitions to make it big in life. With this show, the aim is to inspire the youth to push the envelope.”

Humse Hai Liife will bring forth the aspirations, struggles and determination of a young girl who wants to achieve her goals despite many odds. With this new inspiring concept, Channel now has 2 back-to-back fictions filling the 7-8 pm slot from Monday to Friday, broadening their stance in fiction in the youth entertainment space.
