Ambika Sharma quits Jagran Solutions as COO

Moves on from the activations arm of Jagran Prakashan after over 6 years; her next destination is not known.

Ambika Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, Jagran Solution has called it a day at the activations arm of Jagran Prakashan. She joined Jagran Prakashan Limited in April 2005 and started Jagran Solutions, as an agency specialising in activations. She was promoted to the Chief Operating Officer role in May last year. Her next destination could not be confirmed by the time of the filing of this report.

A thorough bred marketing professional with an experience of 15 years, in the new age marketing & brand activation space, Sharma has been instrumental in making Jagran Solutions one of the leading activation agency in the country, known for its integrated planning in Brand Activation and consumer connect strategies with new media solutions.

Under her leadership in the 4 years since its inception, Jagran Solutions has won many laurels including national and international recognitions. Recently, the 2nd Global Youth Marketing Forum 2010 conferred her with the “Star Youth Achiever Award”. An opinion leader for the activation Industry in India, Sharma took charge for the Promotional Marketing Awards of Asia in 2009 as the Zonal Director for India.

Before Jagran Solutions, she was associated with Encompass, Kidstuff and Candid Marketing.
