CNN-IBN at the Rooftop of the World

This Environment Day, CNN-IBN brings the effects of climate change from the Arctic.

In a run up to the World Environment Day, CNN-IBN brings a World Exclusive as it travels to the 'Rooftop of the World' – the Arctic. CNN-IBN's Environment Editor Bahar Dutt travels to the land of the midnight sun on this scientific journey with top scientists to bring crucial evidence that confirms a climate change. 'CNN-IBN @ The Rooftop of the World' will be telecast on 4^th June at 8:30PM, with a repeat telecast on 5^th June at 11:30AM & 9:30PM.

This special show follows the lives of the Indian scientists who live in the Arctic at the Himadari Research Station and find out what it takes to live under such harsh climatic conditions. The show also features detailed interviews with eminent scientists from the Norwegian polar institute. Another highlight of the show is the 'Global Seed Vault' which is considered to be the ultimate insurance policy for the world's food supply.
