Cannes Lions 2011: Another Gold for India, this time in Design

Along with a Gold, Indian agencies bring home three Silver and one Bronze Lions in Design category.

Living to the saying of ‘Small is Big’, one small Delhi-Based agency has proved it right, yet again at 58th festival of creativity at Cannes. The boutique agency named as Out of the Box has bagged a Gold Lions for its brochure design for a kindergarten school. The work of the agency for Mothers Pride School was not only well –appreciated among the jury but also was paid heed for its idea that understood the convention of kids that visualized everything as big or large in size.

Besides a flashy Gold Lions, India has also laid hands on three silver and a Bronze lions in the Design category.

Mudra has been a fore-runner in this category with two silver and one bronze for its entry of Dwarf Depression.

While TBWA’s work for has caught a silver Metal to its credit.

Last year, Publicis Communications Mumbai had secured One Gold Lion followed by a Bronze Lion by Ogilvy & Mather Gurgaon.
