With the end of the World Cup, Hindi general entertainment channels settle down to their normal TRPs in 15th week.

publive-imageAs the nation comes out from the frenzy of the cricket world cup victory, the hindi general entertainment channels seem to get back in the action with their normal TRPs similar to the pre-world cup. The cricket fever gripping the cricket crazy nation made a huge dent on the viewership of the Hindi GECs.

According to the TAM data released for 15h week of 2011, Star Plus has captured its original numero uno position with 334 GRP (261 GRP last week). The channel has gained maximum 73 GRPs in week 15 to maintain its leadership in the Hindi GEC space. The channel was dethroned last week by Colors which had cut to its inventories to compete in the World Cup environment.

This week Colors has lost 51 GRP and the channel has been pushed back to number two position with 249 GRP (300 GRP last week).

Zee TV is also back on the track with 221 GRP (171 GRP last week). Sony Entertainment Television has replaced SAB to become the number four channel with 152 GRP (120 GRP last week).

SAB despite gaining 12 GRP has been pushed to the number five slot. The comedy channel has got GRP of 139 (127 last week).

The No.6 player Imagine TV has also seen a dip of 12 GRPs in the 15th week to settle down at 58 GRPs (last week 70).

Star One has garnered 32 GRPs (last week 28). Sahara One is at 24 GRPs (last week 22).

9X has garnered 1 GRP (1 last week).
