SAB TV Celebrates Women's Day With Its Leading Ladies

To celebrate this special day SAB TV took all the leading ladies from their popular shows out to shop and lunch.

SAB TV, India's leading family comedy entertainment channel, salutes the spirit of women on the occasion of International Women's Day. To celebrate this special day SAB TV took all the leading ladies from their popular shows out to shop and lunch at the Oberoi Mall (Goregoan) on 4^th March, 2011. Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala (FIR), Shweta Gulati aka Sandhya (Gili Gili Gappa), Mugdha Chapekar aka Aarti Jhaveri (Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo), Sucheta Khanna aka Indumati (Lapataganj),Shubhangi Gokhale aka Mishri Bua (Lapataganj) & Bhavna Balsawar aka Babita Kumar (Gutur Gu) were among the stars who were seen enjoying and interacting with their fans at the mall.

Keeping with its brand promise of 'Asli Mazaa SAB ke Saath Aata Hai', the leading ladies of SAB TV celebrated International Women's Day with lots of fun and enthusiasm. The women enjoyed playing games and had a much deserved me-time shopping at the mall. After all the fun and laughter, they relished a scrumptious meal at a restaurant.

Needless to say, the fans got a real treat and were very excited with the star presence that brightened their usual shopping experience! Mugdha Chapekar aka Aati Jhaveri (Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo) and Sucheta Khanna aka Indumati (Lapataganj) were seen sharing some household tips with other housewives and Bhavna Balsawar kept everyone in splits through her silent act. The much loved Haryanvi police inspector, Chandramukhi Chautala aka Kavita Kaushik paid tribute to all the women constables of the nation!

On the special occasion, the leading ladies Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala (FIR), Shweta Gulati aka Sandhya (Gili Gili Gappa),  Mugdha Chapekar aka Aarti Jhaveri from Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo,  Sucheta Khanna aka Indumati and Shubhangi Gokhale aka Mishri Bua (Lapataganj)  unanimously said, “We salute all the women who work really hard for their families. Women should constantly go out there and make a mark for themselves in society. Be proud of the fact that we women are full of strength and dignity. There is no task that is so difficult that cannot be achieved by any woman. Nowadays we see a lot of women who don the role of the 'Man' of the house. We wish all the women a very Happy International Women's Day.”

SAB TV will further salute the spirit of women by organising a similar event on March 8^th where the other leading women of the channel like Muskan Mehani, Kishori Godbole, Ami Trivedi, Preeti Amin, Disha Wakani, Neha Mehta, Sonalika Joshi, Jennifer Mistry, Munmun Dutta, Ambika Ranjankar amongst others will be seen unwinding and celebrating International Women's day with much élan.
