Cannes Lions launches CannesAlso
The new initiative is for the creatives in agencies who often produce art in their spare time.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has launched a new initiative this year called CannesAlso. Each year, Cannes Lions strives to provide inspiration to our international delegates in every way possible. That inspiration, as everyone knows, can come from anywhere. Going with this thought, the festival will showcase an exhibition under CannesAlso from this year.
The idea is simple: creatives in agencies often produce art in their spare time. This year there will be an exhibition of this work in Cannes. In its first year, the exhibition will focus on photography.
Working in partnership with The Brand Union and Lambie-Nairn, the CannesAlso exhibition will be held outside of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes during Festival week.
Anyone who dabbles in photography, from utter beginner to semi-professional, can enter up to three pieces into CannesAlso. It's free to enter.
The deadline for submission of photography work is 29th April, 2011.
The Cannes Lions 58th International Festival of Creativity is scheduled to be held this year between 19-25 June 2011.
