publive-imageEverest Brand Solutions, a subsidiary of Rediffusion Y&R, has won the creative duties for GoAir airlines. The agency has been given the mandate in the wake of complete revamp process of GoAir.

The development has been confirmed by the industry sources.

“The account size is estimated in the region of Rs.25-30 crore and it is the first big business won by the agency after Dhunji Wadia's joining in November 2010,” said a source.

The win has come after a multi-agency pitch called in December 2010. Other agencies participating in the pitch could not be confirmed by the time of filing of this report.

The business will be handled out of Everest Brand Solutions' Mumbai office.

GoAir is an Indian low-cost airline based in Mumbai. It operates domestic passenger services to 18 cities with 131 daily flights and approximately 917 weekly flights. The airline was established in 2005 and it is owned by Jehangir Wadia of the Wadia Group, Mumbai based and majority owners of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries.
