publive-imageMensXP.com, India's biggest lifestyle portal for men, has launched 'X51: India's Most Influential Men of 2010' in association with Samsung Galaxy Tablet.

The men who made the list come from varied backgrounds - Politics, entertainment, sports, business, arts and humanities - but every single man on the list is a groundbreaker in his respective field, and some are even outright rule-breakers. These are men that history will remember as having defined 2010.

The list finds Shah Rukh Khan sharing space with Kobad Ghandy, and a toilet entrepreneur standing between a media baron and the Minister of Human Resource Development.

On being asked about X51, Angad Bhatia, MD, Xpert Media explained, "MensXP.com has always strived to influence a certain X-factor in the lives of Indian men. X51 takes that one step ahead, by telling our readers about India's most influential men and their 'X Factor', a certain quality or achievement that distinguishes them from the Indian everyman."

"Yet, at the same time, we refuse to dictate names to our readers," Angad added. "The list consists of 2010's newsmakers. X51 makes every Indian man, woman and child on the internet a selector of who influenced them the most."

On being asked about the inclusion of the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Islamist preacher Zakir Naik in the same category, Kunal Anand, MensXP.com' Editor-in-Chief briefly stated, "Why not? After all, they are both preachers of their own beliefs. The list is a reflection of the real India, a place where notoriety and celebrity are at par. Nominated in the list is an exciting mixture of men from all walks of life, who rose to the pinnacle of power using whatever means (fair or foul) to propel their ascent."

Commenting on the user interface, Angad stated, "X51 is seamless, intuitive and is partly inspired by it's sponsor Samsung Galaxy Tab, which allows users to access all their updates on one page quickly, a concept the MensXP.com design team loved."
