Ex-Bindass Kanika Saxena Joins Balaji Motion Pictures

Takes over as Chief Marketing Officer for all movies projects; she had quit UTV Bindass as Marketing Head.

Ex-Associate Vice President and Head Marketing, UTV Bindass Kanika Saxena has joined Balaji Motion Pictures as Chief Marketing Officer. Kanika resumed office this month to head marketing initiatives for all movies projects at Balaji.

She had resigned from UTV Bindass in October 2010.

Confirming the development with BestMediaInfo.com, Kanika Saxena, CMO, Balaji Motion Pictures said, “Movies and Bollywood have been my passion and it is great to pursue my career in Bollywood. Working with GECs like Sony, Zee, Sahara One, UTV Bindass, I have always been close to the movies and this opportunity is an all new avenue for me.”

Prior to joining UTV Bindass, Kanika was associated with Sahara One as Senior Manager – Marketing for period over a year. Earlier, she had a two years' stint with Sony Entertainment Television as Marketing Manager. Kanika entered in television industry in February 2005 as Senior Marketing Manager with Zee TV.

In her 11 years career, Kanika had also worked with media agencies like Mindshare and Carat.
