publive-imageTaking the initiative of educating retail investors in India, CNBC AWAAZ has kicked off 'Money Yatra', a series of ground forums dedicated to solving queries on personal finance and equity investment in Mumbai recently. Inaugurated by former cricketer Sourav Ganguly, Money Yatra is a unique initiative to guide and educate millions of Indian investors to inculcate in them sensible financial planning and also help them develop the skills of decision making in personal investments & savings. It will primarily benefit people from smaller towns in the Tier II and Tier III cities.

Ltd., Prakash Adenwala, MD and Principal Portfolio Manager, Capital Portfolio Advisors; Prakash Gaba, Technical Analyst, Prakashgaba.com and Anubhav Bhatter, MD and CEO, BMA Wealth Creators were amongst the renowned panelists present to clear the apprehensions of investors and non-investors and thereby helping them make informed decisions on their personal financial portfolio.

In its first phase, Money Yatra traveled to Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Surat, Ludhiana, Pune, Lucknow, Guwahati, Vishakhapatnam and Jamshedpur. In its second phase, 'Money Yatra' included cities such as Bangalore, Rajkot, Aurangabad and Mumbai. Now it's going to travel of destination is cities of Jalgaon and Nasik.
