publive-imageTiming has been the key to Zee TV's success since its launch as has been the ability to take risks. Zee TV is a pioneer in creating timeslots with shows like Sindoor & Chhoti Bahu at 7 30 pm. With growing viewership in metros and non-metros and differentiated concepts taking centrestage across Hindi GEC's in India, Zee TV goes a step further to create an early primetime slot and extend its original programming to start from 6 pm every weekday. Coming this month from 6 to 7 pm, Zee TV will launch two new shows in its new line-up of Naya Samay…Nayi Kahaniyaan. The two shows are titled Apno Ke Liye…Geeta Ka Dharma Yudha and Bhagonwali...Baante Apni Taqdeer.

On the new primetime slot, Zee TV & Zee Cinema - Marketing Head, Akash Chawla said, “Audiences are always on the lookout for superior content and once again, Zee TV will create a new time slot to engage our viewers so that they enjoy a greater variety of good shows from 6 pm onwards. With winter around the corner and day's being shorter, families are sure to gather in front of their TV screens and it is our endeavour to give them original content. These launches are symptomatic of a broader change that we hope to pioneer in viewership trends.”

About the shows Sukesh Motwani, Head – Fiction Programming, Zee TV said, “The concepts of both, Apno Ke Liye…Geeta Ka Dharma Yudha and Bhagonwali…Baante Apni Taqdeer, are very different and unique in nature. They are female centric shows and capture the essence of the young & emerging small town North Indian women. Their aspirations, dreams and issues will be brought to the fore in a manner that will surely captivate the audiences. It is a paradigm shift and we are hoping that they will become appointment viewing like our other primetime shows.”
