A lot has been said about the alleged involvement of Barkha Dutt in lobbying after the release of High powered lobbyist Niira Radia tapes by Open and Outlook magazines. Soon after the tapes were published by Open Magazine, Barkha gave NDTV's official response on her show 'The Buck Stops here' and also on NDTV's website. Annoyed by questions, she once again gave a clarification on NDTV's website but even that didn't do the job for her. So, now for the third time and probably the last time Barkha Dutt will be taking a litmus test to clear the air.

NDTV has got four eminent journalists to ask Barkha Dutt questions on Radia Tapes.  Barkha will be answering tough questions from Sanjay Baru, Swapan Dasgupta, Dileep Padgaonkar and Manu Joseph on her alleged involvement in lobbying.  The tapes released of purported conversations between high-powered Indian lobbyist Niira Radia and eminent Indian journalists have baffled the industry.  For the first time NDTV will be discussing the alleged involvement of its journalist in Lobbying.

Will this be a fair chance for Barkha Dutt to make her stand clear? BestMediaInfo.com spoke to the eminent guests to know whether the show will be enough to prove her image clean! Do they think NDTV is serious about clearing the air?

Senior Columnist Swapan Dasgupta said, “This is a good thing that NDTV is giving Barkha a fair chance to answer all the questions related to the controversy. Everyone holds the right to speak up and she too should be given a chance. I have a lot of questions which have been raised in the public domain need to be answered. I cannot comment anything about the show as it hasn't been recorded yet.”

Dileep Padgaonkar, Consulting Editor, The Times of India said, “This is not the question of saving anyone or putting someone in the dock. We want to ask few questions to Barkha related to the Radia tapes so we are appearing on the show. We have to wait and watch until it's over.”

BestMediaInfo.com has also learnt that famous historian Ramchandra Guha and Vinod Mehta were also invited as the guests but they refused to come. Despite several attempts, we failed to get Dr. Prannoy Roy's version on this show.
