publive-imageThe 25th Annual MAA Worldwide Globes 2010 held in Washington DC, USA saw Mudra Max (Integrated Engagement & Experience) sweeping maximum awards amongst the Indian agencies. The MAA GLOBES recognizing the 'Best of the Best in Promotion Marketing Award Programs' witnessed Mudra Max bagging a total of 4 out of the nine awards won in all by the Indian agencies. Mudra Max won a Globe and a Silver awards along with 2 Order of Merits.

Besides, JWT picked a Bronze and an Order of Merit for its Street to School and Kellogg's Special K - Be Special campaigns respectively. Solution Digitas returned home with a Bronze metal for its HP 'Original Beats' campaign. Accentiv and Jagran Solution managed to receive one Order of Merits each.

Mudra Max bagged a Globe in the Best Activity Generating Brand Volume category for its work for 7UP: The Lemon Army. This campaign reached out to nearly 40,000 people and attracted almost 350 amateur cricket teams, which participated to win the chance of playing with the Chennai Super Kings during the Indian Premier League.

The agency won a silver for the 'Mumbai Smiles' campaign - the world's largest oral care marathon - in the Best Trade Marketing, Retail Specific or Channel Specific campaign category. This campaign is also recognized for setting a world record - verified by the Guinness Book of Records.

In addition to this, Mudra Max won two Orders of Merit; one for the Best Sponsorship or Tie-in campaign category for 'The Film God Speaks on India's Biggest Religion'. This promotion saw Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan giving live cricket commentary as the popular character, Auro (from the movie PAA) during the India-Sri Lanka T20 match.

The second Order of Merit was won for 'Aircel - History in the making' in the Best Small Budget campaign category.

Commenting on the wins, Anurag Gupta, Chief Strategy Office, Mudra Max says, “These wins take our tally to 77 awards this year. We hope that we will reach the magical number of 100 by the time we finish the year. Globes are always special because you compete with the best in the world and I am happy that we have contributed significantly in giving India some reason to cheer!”
