BIG FM Elevates Gaurav Sahai As Delhi Operation Head

Gaurav will now lead the Programming, Marketing and Technical teams; earlier, he was heading the Delhi marketing team.

92.7 BIG FM, has elevated Gaurav Sahai as Radio Operations Head, 92.7 BIG FM, New Delhi. He was Marketing Head New Delhi at the FM station. Gaurav will report to Soumen Choudhury, National Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM.

As Radio Operation Head for New Delhi, Gaurav will lead the Programming, Marketing and Technical teams. He will also be leading the planning and execution of ATL and BTL activities including on-air spikes, outdoor campaigns and mall branding in order to achieve Station CUME and TSL targets.

In his new role, Gaurav will also be responsible for increasing the market share of 92.7 BIG FM's New Delhi station, its on-air programming and the entertainment being served to audiences each day. His key responsibilities will include marketing research, surveys and competition tracking, promotion analysis, vendor management - SAP and also benchmarking on RAM ratings for BIG FM New Delhi station thereby setting a target for every quarter.

With a career span of seven years in the fields of Media and Entertainment and Retail industry, Gaurav started his career with Rave Entertainment in Kanpur and post a successful stint moved on to join Shipra Group where he served as Deputy Manager- Marketing. After his successful stint at Shipra, Sahai joined Pantaloon Retail India where he played an important role of setting-up and managing the entire operations of the Northern region. One of his biggest achievements at Pantaloon Retail India included the managing of 'The Great India Shopping Festival' as well as successfully driving of Pantaloon's marketing in the northern parts of India.
