Raymond reappoints Gautam Hari Singhania as MD

Delhi: Raymond, in a regulatory filing on May 3, announced the board's approval of Gautam Hari Singhania's reappointment as managing director for another 5 years, effective from July 1, 2024, subject to retirement by rotation.

"The board of directors, following the recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has endorsed the re-appointment of Gautam Hari Singhania (DIN: 00020088) for a five-year term starting July 1, 2024," stated Raymonds.

This re-appointment is contingent upon the company members' approval.

Singhania assumed the roles of chairman and managing director at Raymond in September 2000.

As MD since 2000, Singhania has spearheaded the strategic restructuring of the Raymond Group, initiating the divestment of its non-core businesses such as Steel, Cement, and Synthetics.

With a vision for brand innovation, Singhania has actively participated in product launches and steered the Group towards sustained growth. Under his leadership, the Group has expanded into the Real Estate sector.
